Our very own Visual Arts and Literature Event

Guess what’s happening on Saturday, 13th Dec, 2008? Our very own Visual Arts and Literature Event presented by FARAFINA. The flyer below says it all. For me the catch was “Admission is Free”. I read from bottom up :-)

My beloved people, hope to see you at this event. It sounds so exciting and thrilling. I can barely wait for the date.

If you want some info from Farafina Magazine's blogosphere, please visit The Farafinist.

spoken word and visual arts are pretty much 2 of my favorite things in the whole world. If only I was in Nigeria and in Lagos! Take pictures and tell us about it! So glad that the arts are blowing up in Nigeria...

This is a must-not-miss event. I've been hoping to get one of my works published by FARAFINA but it's been taking me forever to get it packaged to standard. I hope to be there on 13th and wouldn't it be wonderful to finally meet some bloggers face to face? How u dey?

@Naijalines: Yeah I am good. Didn’t know when time passed by. I always thot I will be “back to blogville tomorrow”

@Femi B: I hope to be there. The past 5 weekends I’ve been in Lagos and if this coming one is not an exception then….jam you there.

@Funms-the rebirth: - Ah Funms, you need to see things that are happening in Naija. It’s not all bad. Things are getting better and Lagos is a fun place.

@SOLOMONSYDELLE: My thoughts exactly…

@NigerianDramaQueen: - FARAFINA has been doing a lot in terms of telling our African stories and hence helping to preserve the little remnants of our culture. I so look forward to this event.

@Seye: - Your timing…but there will be other ones…

@ ~Sirius~ : - Am back Luv, trying to catch up from where I left but I feel like I am in the middle of the blogville ocean and I don’t know which direction to turn to…

@Lisa: Thank you. And I love what you are doing on your blog. It’s so motivating.

@Shubby Doo: Maybe you’d be around for the next…thank you for your “Thank you”.

@Afrobabe: When are you coming to Nigeria? I guess you will enjoy this event.

@Rethots: do you plan to be there?

@Tommeh: I agree with you about the flier. That was the second thing that caught my attention…

@Buttercup: You have not yet told me well of your trip to Nigeria…you have to come with wine to tell me oh…me that has been expecting you since…I cant remember…

@Wellsbaba: At last…please drop me an email…will u?

@Gbengasile: I thought it was only me that has dreamt of my works being published by FARAFINA. I still don’t know what ‘standard’ is. If I am there, I will be wearing a purple and black top and a black skirt. Do look out for me.

@La Reine: Just pop in if you’re around…it’s free

@Standtall: If my waka carries me to Lagos as usual then I’ll be there for sure…Longest time oh.
